To the love of my life,
Jesus- to describe You I would have to spend ten thousand eternities perfecting my prayer, and then I would still fall short of proclaiming your wonders. Therefore, since I am in no ways capable of reaching the acceptable point and pinnacle of praise that You deserve, I come before You on bended knees and with a humble heart.
You are my everything. My sun rises and sets in You, and the stars and the moon remind me only of Your awesomeness. You are the reason that I open my eyes in the morning. You are the reason that my heart beats second after second. You are the reason that I take in a breath, and let it back out again. You make the unimaginable reality to me. When I think of You, everything else turns to dust, and I see only Your bright and shining spectrum of grace, glory, and power. You are my Comfort, Redeemer, Savior, Rock, Deliver, King, and best Friend. Without You, I might as well lie down on the earthen floor and disenigrate, for I would be completely and disgustedly worthless. You are so Beautiful in every way, and You are the total love of my life.
I pray that You break me into being Your servant. Take away my dreams and my hopes; replace them with Your ambitions. No matter how hard I kick and scream and fight it, take me down the path You have planned.
And lastly, thank you so much for everything You have brought me through. Through every ocean of depression, every valley of abandonment, every storm of rejection, and every sea of pain, I was all alone...........except for one small voice that would softly whisper my name and tell me that You were there. For more than any other reason, that is why I sware with my entire being, soul, mind, and body that I am eternally Yours, promising never to stray. I love you so much.......and if the tears streaming down my face right now do not show that, show me what to do to prove it to You. I love You and I am forever Yours.
