Be encouraged to be a helping hand and a friend to those in need. Everyone needs someone. We all have been hurt. Reach out and if you dont know what to do, PRAY!
Yes, I have wrote a blog about who we should trust in. Yes, at all times we are to be putting our trust in God. But, from my own experience, it does help to have that one friend who will reach out and help in hard times. To have someone to listen when you need to figure things out. To have someone encourage you and lift you up when you are down. If we would just have more people who would listen, talk, understand, pray with, and trust who are in the church maybe a lot of our young people would not be falling out of church. There is a lot of things coming against MANY people right now. If we could just be that one person to let someone else lean on in hard times maybe they would make a better choice then to fall away from church. I know many of us have heard this song before but the words really hit me today and I felt to write this up. Please dont turn your back on someone who is hurting. Stop talking bad and gossiping about other people. YOU ARE RUNNING PEOPLE OUT OF THE CHURCH.......And to those who are hurting; there is someone out there praying for you, there is someone out there who has went through what you are going through, reach out to someone, and most of all PRAY because the one you can trust in more than anyone is JESUS. HE LOVES YOU!!!!. And If you still need someone to talk with and no one will listen, then e-mail me and I will listen and be here for you.
